Snap the flyer. The dates file themselves.

Picture day, the field trip form, the camp packet, the activity fee. Snap & File reads the paper avalanche of parenting and turns it into calendar events, expenses, and deadlines you approve with a tap, on a calendar both homes can see.

Three ways to capture

Photograph the flyer on the fridge. Upload the PDF from the school portal. Or forward the email to your personal capture address, and the dates are waiting the next time you open CoreParent. Whatever the source, Snap & File reads it the way you would: the event, the time, the deadline, the fee.

You approve everything

Snap & File proposes; it never auto-writes to your calendar. Each detected event, expense, or deadline arrives as a suggestion you review in a prefilled form, exactly as if you had typed it yourself. Fix a date, edit an amount, or dismiss anything wrong with one tap. Nothing lands until you confirm it.

Built for two households

A general family app puts the school play on one calendar. CoreParent puts it on the calendar you share with your co-parent, so the other house is never surprised, and the $40 activity fee becomes a tracked, splittable shared expense instead of a screenshot argument. School details can also file into your child's school info, caregiver card, and milestones.

Private by design

Snap & File is part of CoreParent Companion and only runs when you turn Companion on. Documents you capture are processed with AI to extract the dates and amounts, and nothing is shared with your co-parent unless you choose to put it on the shared calendar. Read exactly how we handle your data at Your Data and AI.

The email path is locked to you: capture only accepts mail sent from your own account email to your own personal capture address. A guessed address or a spoofed sender gets nothing.

Common questions

What kinds of documents does Snap & File read?

School flyers and newsletters, activity and sports signups, camp packets, appointment reminders, and similar paperwork, as a photo, a PDF, or a forwarded email. If it has dates, deadlines, or fees, Snap & File will propose them.

Does it add things to my calendar automatically?

No. Everything arrives as a proposal you review and confirm through the same forms you would use to enter it by hand. You can edit or dismiss any suggestion before it lands.

Does my co-parent see what I capture?

Not by default. CoreParent keeps each parent's information private unless shared. When you confirm an event onto the shared calendar, it becomes visible the same way any shared calendar event does.

How does capture by email work?

CoreParent gives you a personal capture address. Forward a school email to it from your own account email, and the proposals appear in Companion for review. Mail from any other sender, or to a guessed address, is rejected.
