Not seeing CoreParent emails?

New senders often land in spam or junk until your mail provider learns you want them. Two minutes of setup fixes it for good. Here's how, for every major provider.

First: find the email

Search your mail for thecoreparent.com with "all mail" or "all folders" selected. Check the Spam or Junk folder. That's where it almost always is. Then:

Gmail: open the email in Spam and tap Report not spam.
Yahoo Mail: open it in Spam and tap Not spam in the toolbar.
Outlook / Hotmail: open it in Junk and choose Not junk.
Apple Mail app: open it in the Junk mailbox and tap Move to Inbox (or the folder icon → Inbox). This syncs back and trains your provider too.

Make it permanent: add the sender to contacts

Every provider delivers mail from your contacts straight to the inbox. Open any CoreParent email, tap or click the sender name, and choose Add to contacts: the address is hello@thecoreparent.com. This is the single most reliable fix.

Belt and suspenders: set a filter

A filter overrides the spam classifier entirely:

Gmail: Settings gear → See all settings → Filters and Blocked Addresses → Create a new filter → From: thecoreparent.com → Create filter → check Never send it to Spam.
Yahoo: Settings gear → More Settings → Filters → Add new filter → From contains thecoreparent.com → deliver to Inbox. (Set this at mail.yahoo.com even if you normally read mail in another app; it runs on Yahoo's servers.)
Outlook: Settings → Mail → Junk email → Safe senders → add thecoreparent.com.

Why this happens

CoreParent's emails are fully authenticated (SPF, DKIM, and DMARC all pass), but spam filters also weigh how often you interact with a sender, and a brand-new sender starts at zero. Replying, opening, and rescuing messages all teach your provider quickly; the steps above just skip the wait.

Common questions

Do I need a CoreParent account to receive these messages?

No. Your co-parent sends messages through CoreParent Bridge and they arrive as normal email; just hit reply. Your replies are recorded in the shared message log. You can join CoreParent anytime to message in-app instead.

Will replying share my email account or inbox?

No. Only the replies you send become part of the conversation record; CoreParent never sees anything else in your mailbox.

How do I stop receiving these emails?

Every message includes an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click stops future messages.
